An herbicide for control of Nutgrass (Nutsedge). Typically seen in southern and eastern states Nutgrass can penetrate through the bottom of a vinyl liner; protect your investment with Zapzit

Applications

  • Before liner is installed, apply to the ground 7 lbs. of Zapzit for every 1,000 square feet
  • It is recommended that an area of one to two feet around the perimeter of the pool be treated during installation
  • Immediately after applying Zapzit, use a rake to till Zapzit into the top two to four inches of soil
  • Water with a fine mist from a hose
  • Immediately install liner after applying water
  • To insure no reinfestation, yearly treatment around the pool perimeter is recommended
