The Final Step: Enjoyment Water Balance
Although your spa holds a fraction of the amount of water found in swimming pools, it must be treated with the same care for water balance and sanitation. Testing your water periodically is as important as treating your water. It should be performed each time the spa is used and in all cases at least weekly.
Maintaining proper water balance will ensure maximum results from your sanitizer and complete enjoyment of you spa/hot tub. Once your spa/hot tub is filled, test your water with your test kit or have it tested by your authorized ProTeam dealer.
Adjust pH to 7.4-7.6 by using ProTeam Spa pH Up or ProTeam Spa pH Down.
Use ProTeam Spa Alkalinity Up to adjust total alkalinity within the ranges of 80-120.
Finally, using ProTeam Spa Metal Magic will help you remove calcium and other metals from your water.
